The President of Guinea-Bissau delivers a speech at the National Assembly in Djibouti

On the second day of his official visit to Djibouti, the President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, Mr. Amr Sissoko Embalo, addressed members of Parliament during a plenary session at the headquarters of the National Assembly.
In this speech, President Amr Embalo described his visit to Djibouti as a clear sign of his country's deep determination to work to increase the level of trade relations and cooperation with the Republic of Djibouti.
President Amr Embalo said: “Guinea Bissau and Djibouti have always worked side by side, within international bodies and organizations, whether the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation or the African Union.”
President Embalo praised the vital role that Djibouti plays in maintaining peace and stability, saying in this context, “In these critical times characterized by multiple political crises and challenges that threaten security and peace in the world, Djibouti plays a vital role in promoting dialogue, mediation and rapprochement between the parties to the conflict.”
