Closing of the activities of the Djibouti International Fair 2023.

The third session of the Djibouti International Fair concluded yesterday, Sunday, in the presence of the Minister of Commerce, Mr. Mohamed Warsmah, the Minister in charge of decentralization, Mr. Qassim Haroun, the President of the Djibouti Chamber of Commerce, and senior state officials.
Visitors toured the various pavilions of the exhibition, participated in the closing ceremony and honored the sponsors of this exhibition, which brought together hundreds of exhibitors from more than 16 countries and thousands of visitors.
This closing ceremony was preceded by the activities of the fifth day of this exhibition in its third session, which included a workshop on access to finance: to explore solutions to meet the needs of young entrepreneurs, which brought together senior officials from various banking and financial institutions in Djibouti, and investment experts.
Youssef Douala, President of the Djibouti Chamber of Commerce, stressed the importance of supporting the entrepreneurial spirit of young people in the current context of rapid economic and technological changes.
Mr. Youssef Dawaleh also noted that “the main goal of this workshop is to inform future entrepreneurs and raise their level of awareness about these financing alternatives.”
It should be noted that the Djibouti Chamber of Commerce seeks, through this workshop, to qualify our youth to be able to prepare their own financing application files, and also to identify the sources of financing most appropriate to the needs of their projects.
It is worth noting that the Djibouti International Expo 2023 represents a unique opportunity to contribute to the sustainable development of the region.”
Last Thursday, the President of the Republic, Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh, officially launched the third edition of the Djibouti International Fair, in line with the country’s plan for sustainable development and youth empowerment.
