The President of the Republic consoles the Acting President of Namibia on the death of the Namibian President

The day before yesterday, Sunday, the President of the Republic, Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh, sent a message of condolence and sympathy to the Acting President of the Republic of Namibia, Nangolo Mbumba, on the death of Namibian President Haji Geingob.
In his telegram, on behalf of the people and government of Djibouti and in his personal name, the President of the Republic expressed his deepest condolences to President Nangolo Mbumba, stressing that the government and people of the Republic of Djibouti share the feelings of grief for the late President Haji Geingob.
The President of the Republic pointed out that “the late President Haji Geingob, who was a charismatic leader, left behind a career full of exploits, and will remain engraved for a long time in the memory of his citizens.” He praised his “ability to remain politically steadfast.”
In concluding his telegram, President Gehle expressed his deepest condolences to the family, relatives and friends of the late President Haji Geingob, and the friendly people of Namibia.
