An important speech by the Speaker of the National Assembly before the Ethiopian People’s Assembly.

At the head of a parliamentary delegation and within the framework of a working visit in Addis Ababa, the Speaker of the Djiboutian National Assembly, Dilita Mohamed Dilita, delivered a speech last Thursday before the Ethiopian People’s Assembly, in which he affirmed our country’s keenness to strengthen its historical relations with Ethiopia in the fields of economics, tourism, culture and popular diplomacy. . Emphasizing the transition of the relations of the two countries from the level of partnership to integration.

In his speech, Mr. Deleta Mohammed Deleta noted that Ethiopia is a pivotal country in terms of economy, population and diplomacy, adding that it also has a symbolic and unique status in Africa in addition to its contribution to the continent.

On the sidelines of this visit, the Speaker of the National Assembly and his accompanying delegation held discussions with the Speaker of the Ethiopian People’s Assembly, Mr. Tegeses Shafo. The two sides discussed means to intensify and continue strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, and exchanged visits between officials of the two countries and the business community in order to explore mutual investment opportunities.
After the bilateral working session between the two parties, the Djiboutian delegation visited the aviation training center of Ethiopian Airlines, “Ethiopian Aviation Academy”, which also includes an aircraft maintenance center with international standards.
