Somali President arrives in Djibouti to participate in IGAD summit

Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and his accompanying delegation arrived yesterday in the Republic of Djibouti to participate in the 41st extraordinary summit of heads of member states of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), which begins today, Saturday, in the capital, Djibouti.

The summit will discuss the Sudanese crisis, support the Jeddah negotiations, strengthen diplomatic relations, and address issues affecting member states.
The Somali President is scheduled to hold side meetings with the presidents and leaders participating in this summit to enhance bilateral cooperation with Somalia.
