The President of the National Assembly receives the Minister of Youth and Culture

The President of the National Assembly, Mr. Dilita Mohamed Dilita, received the Minister of Youth and Culture, Dr. Habou Momen Asawi, accompanied by the Director General of the Culture Development Agency, Mr. Muhammad Hussein Daala, in addition to the General Commissioner of the Book Fair, Mr. Omar Youssef.
The Secretary-General of the National Assembly and the Director of the Office of the Speaker of Parliament participated in the interview.
Minister Habou Momen Aswi explained that the aim of this visit is to present the President of the National Assembly with the intention of the Ministry to organize the second edition of the Djibouti Book Fair scheduled in the coming weeks, and to look forward to His Excellency sponsoring this prominent cultural event.
The book fair was considered an important occasion that contributes to enriching cultural and literary life and strengthening cultural and social communication, in addition to enhancing creativity and innovation in the field of writing and publishing.
For his part, Mr. Deleta Mohamed Deleta expressed his congratulations to the Minister of Youth and Culture on organizing the Djibouti exhibition, stressing that he was honored by the proposal he received from Mrs. Habo Momen Asawi.
The President of the National Assembly pledged to provide his full support to ensure the success of this new edition, also stressing his commitment to promoting culture and youth in our country.
It should be noted that the first edition of the book fair was held at the end of April last year, under the slogan (The book, a link in the Horn of Africa and a carrier of peace).
It is noteworthy that book fairs provide an opportunity for people to discover a wide range of books in various fields, which encourages reading and expands the circle of knowledge, which contributes to the exchange of opinions and understanding between different cultures.
