The President of the National Assembly receives the new ambassadors of Spain and Chile

The President of the National Assembly, Mr. Deleta Mohamed Deleta, received in two separate meetings the new ambassadors of the Kingdom of Spain and the Republic of Chile accredited to our country.
Mr. Deleta Mohammed Deleta Bidaya received the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, Mr. Guillermo Antonio Lopez, and discussed with him ways and means of consolidating friendly relations and cooperation between the two friendly countries, especially in the field of parliamentary cooperation.
The President of the National Assembly assured the Spanish diplomat of the readiness of the legislative institution in Djibouti to provide the necessary support and facilities, enabling him to fully carry out the diplomatic tasks assigned to him.
Mr. Deleta Mohamed Deleta took this occasion to praise the commitment of Spain and the European power in combating maritime piracy, which poses a threat to maritime navigation in the region, as the efforts made were crowned with real success.
For his part, the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain presented a message of thanks and gratitude to the Speaker of the National Assembly addressed to the Djiboutian authorities for organizing the process of returning European Union citizens to their countries following the outbreak of the conflict in Sudan. He expressed his great satisfaction at this first meeting of its kind with the Speaker of the Djiboutian Parliament, praising the welcome. What a warm experience I had during this visit.
On the other hand, the President of the National Assembly, Mr. Deleta Mohamed Deleta, received on a friendly visit the new Ambassador of the Republic of Chile to the Republic of Djibouti, Mr. Rodrigo Eduardo Guzman.
The interview took place in the Parliament Hall of Honor, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the National Assembly, Mr. Ismail Jalal Budan, and the Director of the Parliament Speaker’s Office, Mr. Idris Mohamed Ahmed.
After exchanging greetings and friendly conversations, Dilita Muhammad Dilita reviewed with the Chilean diplomat the friendly relations and joint cooperation between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them towards broader and broader horizons, especially with regard to the exchange of experiences between the two legislative authorities.
