The President of the Republic inaugurates the National Police Hospital

Yesterday morning, Wednesday, the President of the Republic, Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh, opened the National Police Hospital, located at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Police.
The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of the Prime Minister, Mr. Abdelkader Kamel Mohamed, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Deleta Mohamed Deleta, a number of members of the government, members of the National Assembly, and many officials in the civil and military corps.
After cutting the opening ribbon, the President of the Republic, Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh, made an inspection tour of the various facilities of the new hospital, equipped with the latest equipment, and listened to a detailed explanation about the extent of its contribution to raising service efficiency.
The President of the Republic also expressed his great happiness at “the distinguished addition this health facility represents, with regard to the medical services it provides at the national level,” stressing his “determination to provide his continued support for the success and development of this medical facility.”
It is worth noting that the aforementioned National Police Hospital, a modern health institution, provides a variety of care, especially in general medicine, surgery, cardiology, pneumonia, pediatrics, neurology, and management of diseases related to the digestive system.
Through the emergency service that operates every day of the week, 24 hours a day, the National Police Hospital maintains continuous provision without interruption.
On the other hand, its greatest advantage lies in providing chemotherapy, which previously required traveling abroad. With a capacity of ninety-five beds, the National Police Hospital combines the provision of treatment and comfort, as its health wards are distributed into a series of buildings that lead to a large square decorated with gardens and green spaces, which undoubtedly contributes to providing tranquility and psychological comfort for patients.
It is also worth noting that this medical facility affiliated with the National Police has been provided with all the supplies that make it a university hospital, and therefore, providing training and continuous development for health personnel is considered part of the goals it aspires to achieve.
