The Kuwaiti Embassy holds a ceremony on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Kuwait

On the occasion of the sixty-third National Day of Kuwait and the thirty-third anniversary of Liberation Day.
Last Thursday evening, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Djibouti, Mr. Saud Al-Saidi, held a reception at the Sheraton Hotel, and among the most prominent attendees were the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Mahmoud Ali Youssef, and the Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Deleta Mohamed Deleta,
On this occasion, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the official spokesman for the government, delivered a speech in which he expressed his great happiness at the participation of our Kuwaiti brothers in their celebrations of National Day and Liberation Day.
In his speech, Mr. Mahmoud Ali Youssef also touched on the great challenges facing our Arab and Islamic world, the catastrophic situation in Palestine, the tragedies of Gaza and the failure of the international community in their response.
The Foreign Minister praised the good governance and wise leadership of the sisterly State of Kuwait, adding, “The sisterly State of Kuwait gives the best example of the wisdom of its leadership of good governance, disciplined policy and balanced relations with all countries, which proves the sobriety of this approach followed by this sister country.”
He continued, saying, “The Republic of Djibouti and the State of Kuwait enjoy many commonalities and distinguished relations that have developed over the past decades, and we seek to strengthen and develop them further, in many fields, especially in the field of infrastructure, to which the State of Kuwait contributes greatly, from construction and establishment.” Vital roads, financing the electrical connection between Ethiopia and Djibouti, and developing renewable energy projects. All of these projects are considered basic pillars of the Djiboutian economy, and the government and people of Djibouti have all the appreciation and gratitude of the government and people of Djibouti.

Ambassador Al-Saadi also praised the Djiboutian-Kuwaiti relations.
He added, “The Kuwaiti-Djiboutian relations were distinguished by their depth and stability, in accordance with principles established by the two leaderships, and this comes as a reflection of the fraternal relations between His Highness the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh.
The ambassador concluded his speech by praying that God would protect our brothers in the State of Palestine, have mercy on their martyrs, heal their wounded, and repel the plots of the brutal Zionist aggressor.
He added, in conclusion, I would like to thank you for your attendance and honoring this ceremony.
He called on God Almighty to protect the two brotherly countries under the wisdom of the two leaderships.
