A cooperation agreement between the University Hospital of Djibouti and the University Hospital in Morocco

With the aim of strengthening cooperation between the University Hospital in Djibouti and Ibn Sina Hospital in Morocco and to achieve significant progress in the field of health in Djibouti. The Djibouti delegation, headed by Mr. Mohamed Dahour Hersi, Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti, and Dr. Omar Mahmoud Ismail, Director General of Djibouti University Hospital, from January 15 to 17, 2024, visited the city of Rabat, Morocco, specifically Ben Sina University Hospital.
This visit aims to strengthen relations, promote in-depth exchange of experiences, and highlight the mutual commitment to continuous improvement of health systems in both countries.
The visit concluded with the signing of a cooperation agreement between Djibouti University Hospital and Ibn Sina University Hospital. This agreement aims to enhance the professional development of the medical, nursing, administrative and technical staff in their institutions, and thus enhance cooperation in the health field. The institutions are also committed to promoting the development and exchange of scientific knowledge, thus strengthening their cooperation in the field of health.
