Conference of the Popular Rally for Progress Party on the new dynamic of the party in the next stage

On Saturday, the sixth of January, the Popular Rally for Progress Party held at the People’s Palace the Forum for the New Dynamics of the Party in its second phase. The forum proceedings took place in the presence of the Party’s Vice President, Prime Minister, Mr. Abdelkader Kamel Mohamed, and the Party’s Secretary General, Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Elias Musa Douala, a number of government members, members of the Executive Committee and the Central Committee, and party supporters in the capital and the interior regions.
The main objectives of the forum were to explore a new strategy and respond innovatively to contemporary challenges.
This forum also constituted for the Popular Rally for Progress Party a decisive platform to bring about development in various priority areas for the dean of the political parties in our country, and to strengthen the role of the party’s headquarters and branches in the capital and the five interior regions, in order to achieve the aspirations of the party under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh, Aiming to bring services closer to citizens in accordance with Djibouti Vision 2035.
Through his speech at the opening of the forum in its second phase, the Deputy Chairman of the Party, the Prime Minister, said that these forums seek to bring together the people and supporters of the Party and its leadership to develop the new vision and dynamic of our Party in a more comprehensive manner, in all aspects of building the Party.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Party, Minister of Economy and Finance, said that this second forum on the new dynamic of our party is a platform to evaluate performance and review what was accomplished during the previous stage, and to present visions and ideas that constitute basic priorities that can be adopted to improve performance and activate party work in its various branches in the capital. And the internal regions, and transparently point out the shortcomings, if any, in a committed spirit of responsibility, in order to address them and shed light on the positives to strengthen them, in a way that will reflect on the effectiveness of party life.
