Disinfection campaigns continue in popular neighborhoods to combat malaria

The Ministry of Health continued to conduct disinfection campaigns to combat disease vectors, especially malaria, in various popular neighborhoods in the capital. The primary goal of this large-scale campaign was to reduce the spread of mosquitoes, the main factor in malaria transmission, and to work at the same time to eliminate the flies and insects responsible for the disease. Infectious diseases such as diarrhea, with the destruction of their breeding sites.
This campaign, which the Ministry has been implementing every year, will enable residents of the three municipalities in the capital to enhance safety by taking appropriate precautionary measures and good hygiene practices in order to prevent the risks of epidemics.
This campaign comes within the framework of the Ministry of Health’s efforts to create appropriate health conditions, considering that maintaining health is a shared responsibility between members of society and the competent authorities.
