The Minister of Commerce participates in the 39th session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Trad

The Minister of Trade and Tourism, Mr. Muhammad Warsma Dereh, participated in the 39th Turkish session in the Turkish city of Istanbul, including member states and institutions affiliated with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, working in the economic field.
The meeting that took place discussed the Islamic issue.
During the session, issues related to enhancing intra-Islamic trade, enhancing financial cooperation, improving means of transportation and communications, developing tourism, raising agricultural productivity, and other items on the meeting’s agenda were also reviewed.
In his speech at the opening session of this meeting, the Minister of Commerce and Tourism indicated that Djibouti has digital infrastructure as an access point for ten (10) that will connect India to Europe and Africa with a capacity of 200 terabytes.
He drew attention to the implementation of the African Free Trade Area to enhance intra-African trade
It is worth noting that the COmisc, which was established in 1981 at the third multilateral Islamic summit in the Islamic world. The committee meets annually at the ministerial level in Istanbul under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Turkey.
