Djibouti and Qatar are discussing enhancing cooperation

The Djibouti Minister of Justice and Prison Affairs in charge of Human Rights, Mr. Ali Hassan Bahdoun, met yesterday, Sunday, with the Qatari Minister of Justice, Mr. Masoud bin Mohammed Al-Amri, in the presence of the Djiboutian Ambassador in Doha, Mr. Tayeb Debd Robleh.

During the meeting, the legal cooperation relations between the Republic of Djibouti and the State of Qatar, and ways to strengthen and develop them, were reviewed.

The exchange of legal expertise and experiences between the two brotherly countries was also reviewed, and work was done to develop a practical framework to activate areas of legal cooperation through agreements and memorandums of understanding.

Following the meeting, the Minister of Justice and his accompanying delegation visited the legal and service sectors of the Ministry of Justice, during which they were briefed on the experience of the State of Qatar in the field of legal training and qualification through the programs organized by the Center for Legal and Judicial Studies for all legal categories in governmental and non-governmental agencies in the country.
The Minister of Justice praised the legal experience of the State of Qatar, and the expertise that the Qatari Ministry of Justice provides to the legal sector, expressing the hope of benefiting from this experience within the framework of cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
